JetStar to replace JetConnect in NZ ?
This rumour seems to be developing some momentum.
Anyone know anything re this...? |
Yes I believe they are still having patent problems with the name JetConnect, so the simplest solution is to change the name.
|
Nah, it was more like JetConnect would cease to exist and the Australian based JetStar would be doing the flying instead.
IE, job losses. |
Plasteek, I can assure you that is not the case. Just wait and see what happens across the Tasman.
|
why doesnt jet connect have a website, i went to apply but didnt know how, i know they are part of qantas
|
Jetconnect recruits through pilot.staffcv.com they don't have a website because they operate Qantas services (unlike JQ/AO).
It would be more likely that Jetconnect became Jetstar, Jetconnect has a much lower cost base then Jetstar. |
Just a rumour so take it for what it's worth - I heard Jetconnect were getting a couple of QF 737-400s and would be operating them in Jet Star colours. Don't know what routes, but presumedly trans Tasman to fly the Jet Star flag.
Interesting times on the Tasman. |
