NAS post debate where to from here?

Ok

So the points have been debated (by one side at least) the big question is where to now. Are we going to take the fight back to the place it should be fought ie the government. If so how?

I for one would like to propose a fly in be tentatively organised ready to go once the election is announced where as many as possible fly into the minister's electorate and spend the day(s) campaigning against the man. Unfortunately living in the west I wouldn't be able to make it.

I'm sure you guys could come up with better, so lets hear them.

I agree it's time to FIGHT! But, erm, what are we fighting for???

I must admit to following this one with interest.

It has reached the bottom of the page so I will put it back to the top.

All those going on about NAS whilst very vocal here have failed to comment on the point raised here. That being, they resent Dick Smith using political influence to get what he wants, But when it is suggested that you fight fire with fire all go quiet!

Is nobody but S-T even interested in the challenge raised here. Let's face it with this level of response to a call to arms the NAS is here to stay no matter how much it is debated on the net. It pains me to say this but at the moment the only person showing any backbone here is Dick. I know I can't change much on my own especially taking into account my seclusion in the West but what's your excuse?

should we start a thread titled "My excuse is" to give everyone an out?

somebody offer me a return ride to Gwydr (is that the right name for the minister's electorate?) and I will willingly campaign.

Bloody frustrating ain't it...!

The AusNAS GOTCHA clock is still ticking.....:hmm: ......Tick Tock Tick Tock

Checklist:

- Pollies (For whatever good it may do).....Check
- Debate (People now know the issues).....Check
- Written Submissions (Cannot be ignored on record).....Check

There are many with 'backbone' working within the system. You will not hear about those representations here for obvious reasons

Campaigning in Gwydir:E

There is really only one person Lie-low John is ****ting about arriving in Gwydir with an umbrella and glossy crappa paper to hand out:rolleyes: and he ain't gunna do jack about NAS until he is sure 'Indiana to-my-horror' can not upset his election apple cart :hmm:

That said, the more letters and faxes that arrive on people's desks the better:ok:

Hang in there, the nightmare is nearly over;)

Just ONE aircraft should be enough.

One towing a banner around the town where Mr Anderson is spruiking, declaring that Australia`s skies have become more dangerous.
There must be several aircraft available, as that`s the heart of gliding country!

Kap,
Unfortunately, it's the gliders (and their tugging mates) that are the major stumbling block. It was they who threatened an injunction on the rollback! How pathetic. So I don't think you'll get much support from them.
