Qantas/September: More Seats Filled On Intl, Domestic SYDNEY (Dow Jones)--Australia's Qantas Airways Ltd. said Wednesday that total revenue seat factor in September rose to 80.0% from 79.1% a year ago. The revenue seat factor is the percentage of available seats occupied by paying passengers. International seat factor rose 0.9 percentage points to 80.3% in September, compared to same period last year, while domestic revenue seat factor rose 2.0 percentage points to 81.0 ========================================= |
This doesnt surprise me as friends/family travelling on business/pleasure often find all QF flights domestically with no spare seats.
Also the city-flyer service often has a full 737-800 when it should have a B767-300 at minimum to absorb the overflow. The city-flyer service during peak periods is supposed to have B767's running every 30 mins between MEL-SYD-BNE but this isnt always the case. |
Lets hope recruiting have been informed:ok:
