Anyone remember AAA?

Only then it was just the Mums and Dads who lost their Super and Family homes to help their kids get a quick start in the game.

What was the name of the bloke who started that?

And who is the chap at the tiller these days? Some Irish mathematician if memory serves.

That era is long gone. (Over)Regulation has killed off any such dreams. That $2.9 million they’re looking for won’t even cover compliance costs.

Didn’t realise April Fools day had been moved to May.

Krusty34 did you get an interview with AAA?

Brad Coombe is the same guy that thought up the Fast Track Pilot Training scheme.
There were some pretty upset people who didn't get what they were promised, the guaranteed airline job in six months etc. They had had to pay up front, of course.

Brad was just on radio in Perth. It’s embarrassing.

I remember AAA as well, IIRC if you wanted to work for them you had to buy the job and the cheapest F/O positions required you to work as cabin crew if needed. This is going back about 25 years so not memory may be a bit sketchy.

Nah mate.

Even I could see it was going to end in tears. Fortunately I had a few runs on the board back then.

Reminds me of this, attempt number two as the first try landed him behind bars:

https://www.seattletimes.com/busines...fares-on-747s/

https://avatarairlines.com/our-flight-deck/

Give me a cool $150000 to play with and earn $350k+ annually, and best of all, you can trust me as I almost made it into the US senate. We all know that politicians are the most trustworthy people out there. But, there’s a catch. Only those who have 10000+ hrs need apply, and, you’d better qualify as a credited investor...

You just can’t make this up, the aviation industry is in such a sad state.

Brad is a clever man. He has $4200 on his go fund me page. When he fails to meet his target.. straight into his pocket. If he manages to get $50000, he can buy a new car!!

He might need it to defend himself, given what I read somewhere else. JT is supposedly quite upset about being added to the list of the Team, which has now since been removed.

A male name is bound to offend some parts of Australian society who go out of their way to be overly politically correct.

im amazed that the name Virgin is still used.

To be fair, right up front at paragraph 2 of the Ts & Cs there's,

2. You agree that all contributions You make to brad are non refundable.
So, hardly buried.

Gene Wilder once made a documentary on how a chocolate factory works. He used golden tickets.
