GT knows where MH370 is.

Ok a little over sensationalist however GT is adamant the new drift current technology or whatever it’s called will pinpoint the position?

Yes I did search for the previous 370 thread but can’t seem to find it.

Just because it’s the anniversary of the loss does ****e like this need to be dragged up?

Can you give a little more info for those of us who don't know who or what "GT" is and what was said or written (re "new drift current technology or whatever")?
Thanks.

When you read the article you might note that the qualified oceanographer, Professor Charitha Pattiaratchi (University of Western Australia), identifies a different preferred search zone to that proposed by aerospace engineer, Richard Godfrey. It is also worth noting that both nominated bands of latitude have already been searched out to 25 nm.

A new drift analysis conducted by one of the leading experts in the search for MH370 has found credible new evidence of the final resting place of the Boeing 777 and its 239 passengers and crew.
My bolding.

I really object to the use of the term evidence. It is a new analysis and projected location. It is not evidence.

GT, in Australian aviation circles is the oracle known as Geoffrey Thomas. A font of knowledge of all things aviation, he is renowned throughout the Galaxy for his wisdom and insights, and is often sought out by media outlets for his opinion though his sole contribution to the industry was working as a baggage handler at the now-defunct MMA in WA. His contribution to advancing aviation in Australia by repeatedly citing Qaint-asre as the "Worlds Best Airline" or "Worlds Safest Airline" is recognised by his ongoing membership to the Qantas "Chairman's Lounge".

I thought it was obvious where it has been all along.....

It’s been lost, like the socks that go missing in the wash, just disappeared and gone forever.

just disappeared and gone forever.
And I still hold the view that there are various people in various positions of authority that hope and pray that it stays that way!

ie; That is is never found.

Can someone give him a kayak and maybe he can paddle out into the Indian Ocean and pinpoint the exact spot?

GT couldn’t find his own butt with both hands and a searchlight. The secrets of MH 370 are safe with him.

Does anyone know if the journalist Geoffrey Thomas ever held a pilot's licence? I am curious as my log book shows I did a dual flight in a Cessna 172RG with a Geoffrey Thomas in February 1996 at Point Cook, Victoria. No other details.

Spéculation that the Americans shot it down. Rich for a country that supposedly shot down a DC9 in error with the Americans over the Med but...
And one they did earlier!

Pinky isn't really being mysterious. If the aircraft is never found (unlikely), then the settlements below can stand and everyone can move on with their lives. When it is found and IF a useful CVR or DFDR is recovered then there may a case for more litigation.
