Must have been with a VA crew, lucky they got a 15 minute sector!!
I would tell them to put it on a truck to ML and stick the redundancy where it don't shine!

I fail to see why the Lessor would give two shits but I assume itís those in the Village trying to protect whatever brand value they think they have. They wonít want the negative press attention but itís all their own doing regardless.

If they’re worried about bad PR maybe they should’ve pulled their colours off the tail first?

Interesting to note the ferry crews passengered (deadheadeaded) LAX/BNE, say 13 hours duty and then immediately strapped on a 737 and operated BNE/HIR/HNL for perhaps another 13 hours duty.

Makes our CAO48 look abit sick I think.

Sleep and eat on the trip in, what's the problem. Counting that is duty is wrong. I know pilots when coming home from holidays who've done this!

Pity they couldn't have taken the ELT with them and left them there too.

Like I said this exercise makes our CAO48 look a bit sick.

Oh and travelling home from holidays is not duty/deadhead travel.

REF 48
dead head transportation
means the period from the time a flight crew member reports for the purpose of making a positioning flight until the positioning flight is completed.
tour of duty means the period between the time a flight crew member commences any duties associated with his or her employment prior to making a flight or series of flights until he or she is finally relieved of all such duties after the termination of such flight or series of flights and includes reserve time at the airport.

Who is 2-V, it doesn't appear in ICAO's nationality marks.

They could paint out the logo on the fin but that would leave a significant portion of the logo on the rudder. To paint the rudder normally requires a rebalance.

It could have been done under Australian Regs as it is a private flight. All they are doing is moving an aeroplane for the owner of the aircraft.

Is it a paid commercial operation or are the crews doing for free?

Private flight doesn’t mean the Pilots work for free!!!

All corporate Jets are private flights and not subject to our “Airline FTL’s”
