Yet they regularly topped the OTP list, and thatís with apathetic ground handling, limited operational support and ďpatch er upĒ maintenance.

A new battle is brewing with NJS Staff and the company.

The company is stating staff may be stood down after relocating however the staff/unions are saying as it is a commercial decision that the staff have been relocated it does not meet the required provisions for stand down.

Ideally borders will be re-opened and there will be no need for stand down however watch this space...

Whilst I agree itís a commercial decision and Iíd love to argue for the employee. They donít have a chance changing the companies decision. Stand Down is being used for exactly the intention, there is no useful work.

im not sure what options NJS have given the employees but if it was relocate to be stood down Vs VR / CR and goodbye....Iím sure they will all make the move.

Plenty of pilots on LWOP right now waiting for an EOI to open.

Not the time to dig your heels in.

I see Network Aviation are advertising for F100 FOs in Perth (TR preferred but not required). Were these positions turned down by Cobham 717 FOs that were being forced to relocate (or be unemployed)?

Or could it be that F100 FOs are being upgraded to the bus?

That would make sense as to why there are positions on the F100.

Iím just curious as to why the 717 folks that were forced to relocate to the east coast didnít take these F100 spots. The 717s only left Perth a few weeks ago. The vibe on the crew bus is that there are very few 717 crew in Melbourne who want to be there.

The announcement was 6 months ago but a majority of the Perth crew only relocated in April.

I suspected that QF was preventing 717 pilots from moving across to Network but I canít work out why? The fact that theyíre advertising both internally and publicly now proves that. Must be a real kick in the guts for those blokes and their families.

TR is required, time on type is preferred.

That's according to the advertisement anyway.

External ad says required - Internal says preferred.

Maybe QF couldn't afford a mass exodus from the 717?

SHL Psychometric testing

Hi folks. Anyone recently taken the SHL psyc testing online for Qlink/Network. heard some mixed things as you can do the test in the comfort of your own couch. Have a mate that did it about 2 years ago before we entered this time of unemployment and vaguely remebers it took about 30-40 minutes
Cheers

Why on earth would you have an F100 type rating but no time on type?

Probably because you self funded the endorsement after being offered the job, prior to commencement. I think Jetconnect and others have a history of that arrangement.
