Yet they regularly topped the OTP list, and thatís with apathetic ground handling, limited operational support and ďpatch er upĒ maintenance.

A new battle is brewing with NJS Staff and the company.

The company is stating staff may be stood down after relocating however the staff/unions are saying as it is a commercial decision that the staff have been relocated it does not meet the required provisions for stand down.

Ideally borders will be re-opened and there will be no need for stand down however watch this space...

Whilst I agree itís a commercial decision and Iíd love to argue for the employee. They donít have a chance changing the companies decision. Stand Down is being used for exactly the intention, there is no useful work.

im not sure what options NJS have given the employees but if it was relocate to be stood down Vs VR / CR and goodbye....Iím sure they will all make the move.

Plenty of pilots on LWOP right now waiting for an EOI to open.

Not the time to dig your heels in.
