Talk about LMFAO. (said in best Gomer Pyle voice) Suurprise, Suurpise, Suurprise. A survey paid for by Melbourne Airport showed people want to travel agin, soon!

A Melbourne Airport official said they surveyed only people who said they didn't believe in Covid19, and they overwhelming said they would travel again.

This is just the typical PR manipulation bs. You see it all the time in the papers so no doubt it will influence a large number of people.

If you have any intelligence you won't need a survey commissioned by Melbourne Airport to tell you what you already know and feel.

Do you have any evidence to back up that statement?

What, you want evidence to back up what was a satirical comment, not a statement?

I think the community are recognising that the modelling was flawed, it needs to be re-done. Isolate and protect the vulnerable. Do not isolate healthy people. Take precautions, wash your hands, don't touch your face, sneeze and cough into your elbow, be considerate of personal space.

Define vulnerable? Your first line reads like you're one of the American's protesting to protect your freedom.

Healthy people are often the carriers and spreaders of the virus. It makes sense to keep places that are free of COVID as COVID free havens.

If you want to travel you have options - Aus, NZ, Pacific Islands, Taiwan. My preference would be to support the islands, who don't have the bank balances of larger countries

I'm not an American but I do admire their spine when it comes to the lengths they'll take to protect their freedom, even if it is for a 'freedom' I don't like personally. Unlike the typical pissweak Australian whinging from the sideline.

Vulnerable?
-Aged, I don't know what that constitutes, leave that for others to work out.
-Aged care homes, all of the residents.
-Immuno compromised, any patient in a hospital undergoing any treatment that compromises the immune system. I find it absolutely despicable and weak that any cancer patient has had to have their treatment delayed due to this manufactured crisis.
-Health care workers, iso them while the spread of the virus leading up to and in it's peak. And here's a thing, pay them triple time.
-Absolutely quarantine anyone returning from overseas.

The rest of us, yep, some of us may get sick. But what guarantees are you looking for? That the government will stop you getting the virus? Maybe get a nil cancer or heart disease guarantee while you're at it. or a walking across the road guarantee?

You admire their spin? WTF! Americans are fools, black man is dead from the hands of the police I understand why the uproar. For them to protest then turn it into a full riot looting, even robbing other stores that are owned by black ppl to top of their stupidity with the whole saga they vandalise the Abraham Lincoln memorial saying black lives matter, he bloody freed the slaves.

Yet another pprune illiterate. SPINE, not spin.

And I was talking about the riots when talking about an American defending a freedom was I?

And I thought I said that I may not always like the freedom they're defending? Didn't read that bit? Or couldn't comprehend it?

Yet another pprune drama queen alarmist, sensationalist, disaster seeking fool.

Read the ******* post, try and comprehend it. Really, it's about Grade 7 comprehension.

Wow you blasted me for something so simple, I’ll ensure I triple check my spelling before hitting the button. I hope you don't have children couldn’t imagine what you would do if they dropped an e.
