PM can’t be DM.
There is not enough bad spelling and no evidence of disjointed language.
I don’t agree with what Dragon man types but at least I can understand him.

Plus he doesn’t use 100 words when 20 will suffice.

Who’s correct? Time will tell.
I’m just hoping we are all aiming for the same thing. It frustrating when a group talk the talk, but won’t actually talk. I don’t trust people like that. The QPA, whoever they are, should understand that there are over 1500 pilots in QF longhaul who have a vote, all of which are just as relevant as PM’s an dm’s. I’d they want support, their behaviour so far will not achieve it.

AIPA is the CoM. AIPA can’t have made a deal if the CoM haven’t been told about it and haven’t voted on it. A deal will certainly come in time and I dare say it will involve joint transport and 4 crew (the make-up of the 4 is less clear) but you can’t have any deal before CoM has even been briefed.

How will joint transport work in say LA or New York? Another chicken little comment.

The same way as it does now, we all wait until the last crew member arrives.IMO for a 22 TOD seperate transport is required. The company think otherwise.

No, incorrect. Once again bending the truth to suit your argument.

Well that would not work in NY or LA where respective CC & tech hotels are widely separated. In any case its a trivial cost in the scope of the project.

Well why don’t they just stay in the same hotel?

Agree it would make sense. But that’s not how QF do it. And the staff have no control over that.

In passing, from a PP Thread on fuel tankering. It seems a one stop optimal route Lhr-Syd, uses less fuel and would have more pax/frt capacity than non stop.

But it's not a unique selling point

I believe they're running a LHR - SYD test flight today

In the reporting of the LHR~SYD on 14th/15th, I see that the UK media reports are all about "Qantas fly a nearly empty plane ..." and do not mention that it was a delivery flight that was repurposed - so they could use the delivery flight for research (and PR of course). The PR people should have emphasised the delivery more.
