Close. Touch over 16% total base increase as of this August, half of it (7.8%) backdated to last August.

Sounds great. Can’t see it helping them turn a profit though?

Pilot wages make up a few percent of a ticket cost. A 16% payrise would probably add less than a dollar to the ticket price.

Who says they (the owners of the airline) want to 'turn a profit'?

In all seriousness though, parity among the various components of the pilot group clearly holds some value for the company, or why would they pursue it?
