You forgot: If only CASA had listened to the overwhelming evidence against CAO48.1.

Shocking by CASA. Standard line that insinuates that these are standard rules worldwide. I guess CASA forgot to mention they have cherry picked the most advantageous rules for commercial operators and left out the protections for those cherry picked rules.

CASA fast becoming the voice for the airlines.
Soft corruption is a great thing.
Chairman's lounge and Olivia inspired (does she still make the phone calls?) upgrades does a lot to smooth the wheels.
The original amendment is nothing like the current, seems that corruption works well as senior public servants, regulators (yes even CASA) get invites and of course both sides of the circus in Canberra too..

You hoped AIPA was also contributing in the media. I pointed out that they did in the Australian and other outlets.
It's only a dollar a day to read The Australian, the only newspaper that has a separate Aviation section.
Hopefully those who lash out for a subscription got to enjoy the article.

Having been advised in the past not to paste copies of subscriber articles to media such as Pprune, I'll leave it up to your resources to track down the article if you're even remotely interested in what AIPA said.
