2018 Engagement Survey Results

Hi all,

Posting here the results of the Annual Industry Employee Engagement survey that we run every year. Thank you to all the Pprune readers who contributed. We've been doing this for 7 years now and have gathered thousands of responses and valuable data for unions as we negotiate with the companies talked about here.

cheers
Steve Purvinas

You just gotta laugh you really do.

Tiger sunk 30% in a year. Set to overtake Air Niugini at this rate in what appears to be the lowest ever figure recorded.

Great work Steve and team.

What interests me is Emirates and Niugini’s rating for ‘ safety’.
Most pilots bag their management teams but think that safety is overall ok.....not so for those two.

Have a look at a few of the relevant threads on EK and PX. I think it’s pretty self explanatory.

Right now Qantas are looking for 'enhancements' to permit longer TOD.

I heard they’re looking at DXB- SYD three man crew. I gues due to lack of crew?

Yes. For flight times beyond 18 1/2 hours. Not to reduce crew complements on current tours of duty.

It was true. They said they were going 3 crew for summer to 7 destinations including SYD & MEL. But, after our management were inundated with hundreds of emails (some offensive) apparently, they have back flipped and now only Toronto, Boston and One x NY. Flight times around 12 hours.
