Emirates A380 BNE

Anyone any idea why an A380 has been parked at BNE International terminal for the past few days. Seen it beside an Antonov on Monday.

The presence of the Antanov suggests a new engine has been flown in for it.

A380 arrives each AM departs PM - no longer operates through to AKL.

Antonov was a tech stop enroute to perth

When engines have been required in the past, EK have used their own freighters.
