A350s for Qantas?

https://www.ausbt.com.au/community/v...to-a350-900ulr

This appeared online the other day. Could they be thinking of expanding and becoming a global airline once again?

From the article:

"standard and proven A350 with extra rage built in"

Does that mean it's the extra angry version? We could all do with some more rage.

777s?

Come on, don't you remember the words of one esteemed Geoff Dixon, "777s are the wrong technology for Qantas".

I guess Alan will need to run any new purchase by him before handing over some cash.

8 A380s gets you around 24 A321NEOs, add the other 110 and every Group narrowbody has a replacement.

Maggot has the correct info - the decision was made a long time ago for the QF LH fleet to consist of B787's & B777X's with a single pilot endorsement.

Puff pieces like this are periodically released to keep Airbus happy and keep a little bit of competition running between the two main manufacturers.
