"QF Fokker 100"?
I assume you mean Qantaslink branded, Network operated and Qantas owned/purchased F100 operating with a QF Flight number and rego callsign.
Confusing?

Gotta love GT's spin on the F100 in the Sat West.
"The fleet of Fokker 100s based in WA is typically at one-third of their design life" rather than comment on the age of the 23year old aircraft.
Don't tell me the Fokkers have another 46 years left in them!

Bloggs,
I was merely pointing out that for the media and general public, it may be a somewhat confusing set-up regarding Network/Cobham/Qantaslink/Qantas etc. Nothing sinister!

Bottums Up
Given that most media reported plane crashes are made in Cessnas. And that the travelling public generally judge a flight on the nano-seconds of touchdown, I'd reckon one look at the roo on the tail, and there'd be no confusion at all.
It'd have to be an Ansett plane, 'ey!
