FJ's new NAN/SFO seasonal route

it seems either FJ's new seasonal route NAN/SFO (twice a week for most of DEC & JAN) either isn't working or because it's new & seasonal, people just don't look for it. I found it by accident, when searched for SYD/LAX & SYD/NAN/SFO/LAX popped up. So changed search to SYD/SFO & $1299 return SYD/SFO/SYD departing late DEC & early JAN, coming home 22JAN, which is very cheap for that time of year, considering those dates will suit most families with school kids perfectly.

It seem from SYD one flight a week is a A332 all the way, so they can call it direct, but other one is their new A333 connecting with A332.

oops just noticed the $1299 is return student fare, but they didn't define what a student is. $1399 for adult. Still bloody cheap, when compare with QF or UA.

Fiji have also changed their "stopover" tax recently. Before I think it was if spent less than 12 hours in Fiji, you didn't have to pay it. Now they've increased it to Fiji$300 which is AU$128, but not payable unless you spend more than 72 hours in Fiji.

far out. Air travel to parts of Europe is dying?(eg. France, who wants to go to a war zone) & people are shying away from the Arab airlines, but why are we having this race to the bottom ?

Surely, airlines are much better cutting capacity or codesharing ?

BINGO! All three are here! Pity the alts never argue amongst themselves, that would be more entertaining.

Can the MODs create a travel agents section of pprune where this guy can talk to himself as much as he wants?
