Yes, looks like hold filers will be waiting for a considerable amount of time. Still probably a good place to be for when it does start moving again though. Just need to be patient.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on with recruitment for Jetstar? Have they / are they going to wipe the hold files?
I understand they're currently operating at 105% of pre-COVID levels, is this a good sign for recruitment?

I’d imagine their pre-COVID Bali capacity alone would have been significant, without that (and other INTL) they’d have plenty of spare room to boost domestic services.
That would be my decision however not my call to make.

Add the 787 domestic flights into the mix, and the dilemma of the rest of the still stood down 787 crews, plus NZ at about 50-75%, there doesn’t look like any need for new hires in the near or mid term.
The best way to get into a jetstar aircraft at the moment is to apply to become a flight attendant. As long as international flying is blocked and States go into lockdown there won't be any NB recruiting.
