I had heard 1st of July, presumably actually the 4th as freight tends not to move over the weekend.

Without being too cynical I think the big question will be 1 July which year?

I can't believe that any organisation can add a new type as quickly as was required here. Not for want of trying or good intention but I just can't see casa getting through all the work necessary

Pretty sure Pionair's 146s have been sitting at Bankstown for a few years so would be surprised if they didn't already have them on an AOC.

"Sitting at Bankstown" therefore they must be on an AOC?

Even if they were was it a freight AOC?

In all fairness the freighters may run tonight as tonight is still July 1.

Anything to do with aircraft is usually hurry up and wait.
Who knows............

and..... and....

given the phone calls to all the brokers and forwarders this week, did somebody for get to get the slots sorted???

Before you spit venom, go read the curfew act and realise like someone in Bowen Hills has this week that the ACT actually allocates the dark o'clock slots to operators even if they aren't using them.

Given we are in car taker mode hoz that working for ya.

The solution, yeah that wold be a 63 year old turboprop..... yep modern technology that one.

Hey everyone, stop being so critical. The people running this outfit are from marketing, HR or accounts. What are they supposed to know about slots….aircraft…regulations….

I was going to comment about MM and her success stories, then realised she is a lawyer by trade.

I assume it is a Monday to Thursday operation like the others, hence the 4th July date for first flight.

Airwork are running the 737 operation. Started last night on the East Coast run as the 146's are a week late. Boeing to run TAS and PER when the 146's are available.....
