Joyce cannot keep the current schedules operating with the 380's and 400's taking more than normal sick leave
Not sick leave apparently (or at least, not just sick leave), but in keeping an extra 747, 10 now instead of 9, and the increased utilisation of A380's, someone possibly forgot they need crews. (and to add insult to injury recently demoted a whole bunch of S/O's onto the 330! 'Last months plan', you know…)

Captains doing S/O patterns, pretty consistent high divisors, how long can it be kept up? All this talk of ULR 777-8's with heavy crews is waaay too premature at this stage.

Probably too many now on LWOP and no new recruits since Jan 09. Might be time to get some back early and start the recruitment drive a bit sooner. Get your applications ready Girls and Boys, when it starts it could be epic!
