Melbourne Radar on Mount Macedon

A bit of crane activity on Mount Macedon north of Melbourne.
The dome (covering Melbourne radar? ) on Mount Macedon is gone.
Has the radar been removed as well?
I must say the dome was an eyesore and will not be missed!

A better eyesore would be an antenna lying on the ground following winter ice buildup.

The radar is being replaced so presumably the dome will go back on once that job is done.

They should plant a wind power generator on top. Wind generators are invisible and will hide the dome.
