what's the latest on FREE SPIRIT ?
It has been tried once before unsuccessfully. He doesn't have the infrastructure, knowledge, cash, business ethic, and most importantly is not willing to part with the cash required. An RPT AOC or any AOC for that matter is a privileged and it comes with certain responsibilities and the need for key personnel. These peops dont come cheap. Plus where is he going to get an aircraft from (one that he thinks he can get on the cheap). He wasn't able to furnish the operating costs on a 1900 C. This is just a small incite into why I said what I said previously dijical. All he has successfully done is flush someones capital down the toilet solely for his own selfish hatred of REX.
Does anyone know if they had any takers sign up to their ~$150K cadetship for a chance to fly the 1900 which no longer exists?

You seem to know a fair bit about him....the question I ask is that if he has allegedly applied and failed before, then why would anyone operate for him?
There's always a sucker in aviation willing to send their machines out on the hope of payment.

So really when you boil it all down, Roman is just a contracted booking agent for Sharp airlines as Free Spirit is not in possession of the two main ingredients required for an airline. An AOC and an aircraft. Does one need a travel agents licence and security bond for this type of activity.

After a quick glance of all the sharp airlines metros on flightaware the last one flew to merimbula on the 17th of January, since then interestingly australiasian jets King Air 200 VH-ZMP and Cessna 402 VH-ZMG have both flown between Merimbula and essendon at the same times free spirit flights are scheduled. Seems as though things have ended with sharp given the removal of free spirit titles on SEZ and the services are now being provided by Australasian jet.
