Don't know if ausjet are still doing the services, today it appears Australian corporate jet centres piper chieftain VH-MZM is operating today's service. Don't know how long they can keep doing this, seems a bit of a joke now going through all these other operators in such a short period of time.

Free Spirit Airlines: Services Disrupted
Essendon Fields Airport has issued Free Spirit Airlines with a Notice to Vacate on Monday 5th February 2018, which will be effective from Monday 5th March 2018.

Hey everyone. I stumbled across this thread because I have been dealing with FSA for a few years now.
The latest is that there has been no flights into Merimbula since Monday January 20th 2018. Roman owed a LOT of money to a couple of local media companies in print and radio last year and the year before.
One of which is (Fairfax Media) and they took legal action until he was forced to pay. The Radio did the same and he has burnt his bridges with all that he has had credit with locally here on the NSW Sapphire Coast. He now owes me money and I am not happy but will remain anonymous at this stage. The FSA website says all flights are booked if you try and book any date, but of course we know he has some BIG financial problems.

A direct consequence is that FSA is apparently moving to flying out of Moorabin using charter substitute Chieftains. Next week.

Nearly guarantee flights have been flown by other operators apart from sharp since the 20th of January. As mentioned previously in the thread they've had chieftains, cessna 402, cessna 441 and even a king air do services but only on Mondays and Fridays.
In relation to money,not long after they ceased the Wynyard route the burnie airport corporation commenced legal action against the airline because they owed at least $12,000 under an 'agreement'.
More money issues that has risen over the past couple of days down here, There's been numerous reports of people checking their card statement showing money has been taken without their knowledge by free spirit, these include flights they've already paid for and flown also with extra bits of money taken.
This 'airline' should've been closed down a long time ago.

Purely out of morbid interest I accessed their web booking site today and, yes, they are still accepting bookings- at least to the point where it wanted my CC details which for some reason I did not feel like giving them.

Story in today’s Advocate newspaper along the lines of Theelegant 747 post.
FORMER North-West Coast carrier Free Spirit Airlines has had 39 complaints from customers who were billed twice or more for tickets.
