Zeroandbelow - Since the last hiring intake, from memory that was 2013? I'll touch base with HR this week and see if they give me any indication of what the scoop is.
I might have cut the wrong person off at an intersection somewhere??

Just an offering, but it's not called "Recruit to Group" anymore. The concept of 1 interview, 1 career has changed. Now all vacancies in the group (except for command upgrades, Base moves, and jet fleet switches) which is covered by seniority) must be interviewed for.
The process is now called "pilot recruitment"

some starts happening.
Air Nelson has had some ground courses recently and Mt Cook has one starting in a couple of weeks. Mixture of mostly former eagle and some external pilots. To anyone sitting on a yes letter hopefully HR has been in touch. Some externals like myself have been waiting 18 months. My wait is over now thankfully

Take with a grain of salt I guess as the information came from Wikipedia. But both the Eastern and Air Nelson Wiki pages are indicating Air Nelson will take two of Eastern's Q300 in Feb next year.
Anyone got any more insight into that?
