Bye Bye Coffs Staff
I hope the QLink Tech and Cabin crew will be wishing all the best to the PSO contract staff at Coffs Harbour Airport who have all been given the bullet. These duties will soon be carried out by Aerocare contracted staff after Qantas renegotiated the contract. According to the local newspaper job interviews to fill the new Aerocare positions were carried out before and without the knowledge of the current staff. A great bunch of people who helped me out on numerous occasions during my duty travel days. Words fail me about the bunch running this airline. Loyalty? If you want loyalty, buy a dog!

Very sad,
Coffs staff can join the hard working and Loyal Mildura ground staff and the Launy ramp staff.
Qlink management working to engage all their employees once again!
DIVOSH!

More old heads and culture lost.
The last bastions of real Airline mind set are being eroded further. After being made redundant 3 times in my Airline career I feel I am in a position to comment.
Good luck to the good staff involved and worry not. The good stuff floats and look to those business people you took care of for employment opportunities.
Your past service will have left an impression on them.
Best regards
EWL

To all of the Coffs staff who have over the years been the most pleasant and helpful and loyal people, not to mention the greatest ambassadors for Qlink, I salute you.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the help and pleasant check in over the years and I am sure Karma will reward you.
I will, when I get back home, come and say thank you in person as you were professionals of the highest order. My best wishes go with you.

Aerocare modus operandi.
Makes no sense at these smaller airports to have dedicated staff for only a few flights a day.
Aerocare staff are generally on lower rates.
Get one contract by loss leading, and back yourself to get the other contract which will give you enough revenue to be profitable.
Perfect sense for Qantas Link
Pity the staff impacted by it.
