One institution that invested a large sum in QF shares after taking notice of a briefing 3 years ago is down 27.6% at present.

If they had purchased Virgin shares instead their investment would have grown 39.7%.

Is it true QF have stopped LWOP? And would this be to keep a surplus to cover the RIN training?

I believe AJ will trying to figure out how to justify the biggest corporate loss in Australian history.....

I would be quiet too!
Given Newcrest lost $5.8 billion in 2013 and I suspect HIH a similar amount in 2001, I would very much doubt the above.

Absolutely it will be a bad result however.

In certain, categories, yes. It's true. In other categories they're quite happy for you to take 3-5 years.

Boeing's 2014 Pilot and Technician Outlook, released today at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, projects that between 2014 and 2033, the world's aviation system will require:
533,000 new commercial airline pilots
584,000 new commercial airline maintenance technicians
AJ said these new fangled aeroplanes maintain themselves. Not sure who I believe, the leprechaun or the people who build the aircraft?

Grrr

the world needs 533000 new commercial pilots
.."new" pilots cos' the current crop are trouble makers and aren't capable of integrating in the modern HR environment
