JQ Blood Letting Commenced

Orangestar has commenced its latest 'Once every 24 months restructure'. This time, again, its airport structures have been boned. Airport Managers around the network have been made redundant. As a result some of the remaining airport managers will be responsible for multiple ports, 3 or 4 each.
It will be interesting to see how they can possibly juggle all the relevant safety and compliance requirements within WH&S, CAsA and OTS regulations?

- No doubt the Ground Operations restructure was adequately risk assessed by JQ with no increased levels of risk highlighted, prior to implementation?

- No doubt CAsA are satisfied with the restructure as well? After all, it is a requirement of the SMS under Part 119 to have a SMS that in part addresses an operators ongoing safety capability, risk management, safety assurance, change management processes and so the list goes on...... Obviously this has been addressed by JQ and CAsA are satisfied?

Yes indeed, the QF Group mentality is to cut cut cut, get rid of experience and reduce effective operational oversight. That's gotta be a big win for safety

Not just isolated to JQ/QF Waren. It's the industry as a whole. The term arse covering comes to mind.

The amount of red tape, OH&S , SMS , tails wagging dogs etc etc, it's a wonder ANY outfit can make a dollar.

The puppy has well and truly been shagged.

The industry went pear shaped about 27 hours after 9/11.

At least we can dance on the grave of the fat architect of the downturn. I am still wanting to dance on the grave of the silver one.

Bring it awnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Best all

EW.

Most pundits agree the local industry was screwed by the events of 1989.

Agreed. Idle hands are the devils workshop.

Soon Australia's leading industry will be OH&S and politics with nothing to govern.

Yes, these unemployable "consultants" learned their trade with Y2K, honed their shills with QA and are now raping industry with OH&S.

And politicians legitimise their actions by passing a plethora of totally unnecessary regulation and legislation. The politicians have nothing much else to do, I guess?

Have a gander at this carpet muncher's paradise that your taxes are funding!! Another Government authority with the ineptitude of CASA.

More from the tales of 'waste de money'

Hmmmm, thanks tailwheel, you just stoked my embers and they have blown up into a raging fire. Governments are parasites. The turds in Queensland just announced they are closing 6 schools, at least 4 of the closures can't be justified. Meantime Can't Do Campbell is spending $75o million on a new highrise building for him and his trough dwellers!!

So if you feel up to it, please read the below link. While our infrastructure turns to ****e, our schools get closed, and pensioners eat crackers for brekky, lunch and dinner, our hard earned taxpayer funds get sent to the IMF to help bail out a country who is up **** creek because they have avoided paying taxes and investing smartly for decades;

Australia contributes $7 billion to IMF funding

The below scene reminds me of a former PM ?

And you wonder why people are disgruntled with governments and fed up with being buggered??

And thank god they cut all the AusAid money as well. Let's pursue a totally isolationist policy, lose what little diplomatic strength we have and let the world crumble into further financial ruin, it's not like we export a lot of things... Oh wait.

ST, its a great line up isn't it? You forgot to mention all the bearded women with sideburns who work there, man haters, additional stamp lickers and hermaphrodites

Oh yeah, I was talking about CASA. The same line up works for the Workplace Gender Equality Agency also.

My ex wife works there, as a matter of fact. And she used to work for CASA, and fits a certain profile alluded to in a number of posts here.

I think you blokes are onto something
