Australias freight changing hands

So it seems corporate air are taking over the freight runs from rex (saab 340), pionair taking over from national jet (bae 146) and many smaller operators picking up the regional runs....

Corporate Air Saab's are for passengers, not freight.

Make that
1 x 146-100F
3 x 146-300F's that are flying around.
Pionair CV580's are doing a run from Cairns into PNG at the moment.

If Corporate Air intend to use the S340 for freight they will need A models. The serial numbers for the ones they are getting are Bs and there is no certified freight conversion available for the B yet.

This could possibly tie in with the QANTASLINK thread. Cobham to breakup retaining Coastwatch and the rest to QLink and Pionair

AAE will be dead with the merger... Paint jobs to QF Freight with rooless red tails... So close your eyes and pretend your legacy (at 2am)

I agree. Where do these clowns get there information from.

AAE to rebrand to QF Freight shortly now that QF is finalising the buyout

from AusPost. Auspost to get 100% of Startrack plus pay QF some cash.

The four 737's and four 146's to get Qf freight with red tails minus the kangaroo on them.

Where did this Pionair BS come from.

I' m pretty sure nobody actually cares anymore, the reason people wanted to be in a "legacy" carrier was for job security and lifestyle and those reasons are gone now.
