Hope they don't need to put the pax up in hotels - no room at the inn. All available rooms in Darwin taken by (non paying) "guests" of the Australian taxpayer, a.k.a. asylum seekers. A.k.a. country shoppers.
A 1 hour turnround for an A380, operating into an airport never before used, with absolute pressure due to a medical emergency- when you think about it that was a hell of a good performance on behalf of the qantas crew and airport staff, ATC and certainly the emergency services. Having been the subject of a similar experience myself some years ago (artery blockage resulting in a pan pan priority landing on an asian carrier into HKG- trust me the experience was not pleasant and not organised) I'm glad the person involved received such good care by the people involved.
Quite often I hear flights requesting diversions due to onboard medical emergencies. A few months ago there were two in one night.

I could think of worse places for the A380 to land just a bit further on route although not good the patient had a Heart attack in the first place.
Agree re good turnaround.
Would be interesting to see where they parked it.

Taxi is via B2 or the runway.
Out of curiosity, what are the A380 approved airports further up? Anything other than Bali and BSB?
Bali, Jakarta, Batam, Singapore & KL. (not BSB)

Are you for real?
What's the big deal here for you?
What do you think professional airline pilots get paid for?
