Barry Jackson on Abc news 2/7/11
Just caught the end of an interview this morn on ABC 24 with BJ I'm which he was asked if the Qantas pilot's were concerned about Virgin's operations also. His response: " ummm, ahhhh, ummm ahhhhh well I would have to say we are. Virgin do have a history of employing inexperienced pilots". Well #%^* you skygods. Not one bloke on my course had less than 5000 hours when I started. Good luck with that industial action.

From ABC News 24 broadcast, can't find the transcript.
JH- “Well earlier I spoke with the president of the Australian and international pilots association Barry Jackson. He says the safety problems at Tiger are systemic training issues and are an issue for all low cost airlines.”
JH- “So is that an issue of experience or lack of experience?”
BJ- “Well obviously there’s more to this than just that, those particular incidents. Obviously there’s a systemic problem with the pilot training. . .”
JH- “In Tiger particularly?”
BJ- “Well we have a concern about the whole industry. In fact, we made submission to the Senate inquiry earlier this year to talk about pilot training and safety reporting, because we believe that the low cost carrier regime is putting pressure not only on their own operations but also on the established carriers to compete and cut costs.”
Nothing new here

ABC 24 Interview (video) with Barry Jackson
Biton, you have a real problem with the truth.
Just wanted to get a 'Skygods' shot in at Q pilots did you?
Are you 'Man' enough to say you were wrong? Somehow, I doubt it.
