QANTAS to stop Socceroos sponsorship
QANTAS will announce later today that after the 4-0 loss to Germany in their first world cup match they will no longer be an official sponsor of the Socceroos.
Instead, Jetstar will take over. A new scheme associated with the new Jetstar sponsorship will be a cadet program where budding soccer players can pay to join the team. Another new initiative will be players having to pay for the sports drinks and water they consume during matches.
