Norfolk Ditching a Taboo Issue?

I am baffled as to why three threads on this incident have been closed and one has been totally erased, while other threads on different accidents remain open I am pretty sure that we can all learn something from this incident through various posts.

Norfolk Ditching

My guess is because of the unfounded crap that continually finds its way onto the thread. Speculation is one thing but histrionics a complete 'nother. Then again, maybe Plairex have more pull than we think.....

I know it "...is because of the unfounded crap that continually finds its way onto the thread."

"I am pretty sure that we can all learn something from this incident through ..." the final ATSB Report and rational debate from those professional pilots competent to voice an opinion, rather than from the unfounded and unsubstantiated "...various posts" which have appeared on PPRuNe.

And just for the record - no thread is ever "totally erased". Moderators can see the thread and if you can't, that is our intention.

Thank you for the words gentlemen!
