Hey, HeavyCargo, your post elsewhere last September re your fleet. what's the tally these days?

Heavylift Cargo Airlines Pty Ltd
HeavyLift Australia going great.

We have 1 x Belfast, 2 x B727-100s, 3 x B727-200s and bought out European/OZ Jet four B737 pax for the Australian domestic licence to operate freighters. Another B727-200 in December from Nat Jet/AAE.

Total 6 x B727Fs 4 x B737 pax and Belfast = 11 aircraft

Started five years ago with one B727-100F ? Go figure.

WITWIW I think you will find the fleet has shrunk considerably. I hear a rumour that the owners are deserting Oz for a new venture in the Phillipines

HeavyLift are starting to hurt one would say. OBN has been sitting at Perth with the #2 Engine next to it waiting and waiting and waiting..... OZD came over as it was easier for them to change it at Perth.

3x B722Fs ?
I only know of One, White fueslage with Heavylift tail.
Second one metioned previously is leaving our shores
It is still sitting against the fence at YBBN if anyone in interested in it.

One B721F was sold up in Asia i believe aswell, they only have 2x left.
The pilot said they have 3 on register, but only operate 2 ?
We have one in BNE, Parks 6 days a week, Operates HN204 / 203 BNE/POM/BNE
Every Saturday.
Great guys to deal with.

Still remember last year when they were flying the B722F for PX ( PX2004 BNE/POM/BNE), listening on the scanner We threw 21T onboard, when getting his clearance, told Tower he couldnt fly the SID as he was too heavy, requested straight out dept to get some speed and height!

obn had an engine coming to for a shop visit, ozd needed a 'c' check, engines swapped for convenience only, in Perth cause that is where most of their manpower is

Ozu is picking up ozd's flights in the meantime

Yep. I hear their fortunes have changed for the better and there is a major resurgence on its way. Dunno how they got to this, but really good to see. Astute management I think.

Heavylift 727F operates Wed and Sat to POM not just Sat.

Both the 100 AND 200F have been thru BNE this week.

I have also heard a rumour they bought a airline in the Phillipines called TransGlobal which has a MD-80.

The sequence of registrations seems to point to some connection between Heavylift and TransGlobal

RP-C8015 B737 TransGlobal
RP-C8016 B727 Heavylift
RP-C8017 B727 Heaviylift
RP-C8018 MD83 TransGlobal
RP-C8019 B727 Heavylift
RP-C8020 Belfast Heavylift

...... or is it just a coincidence?

Static Display

Does anyone know why the regulator seemingly took interest in the three B732 static displays at Perth this week?
