Hi All:
GT here. Just for the record that VB story or "beat up" did not come from Steve Creedy but another journo from the SMH. So you need to do some research on that.
To put this in perspective we are obliged to report the news regardless of what we might think. We do not often get the chance to express our own views.
And I might add QF does me no favours whatsoever.
Best

answer to your question
The answer to your question is no: I do not ask airlines for free travel, upgrades, lounge access etc for my family or myself when travelling personally. We pay for it like everybody else, fly at the back of the bus and pay painful airport prices for our food and drink.
Also, Geoff is right when he says the story you refer to at the start of this thread was in the Sydney Morning Herald. It was not in The Australian and I was on holidays at the time anyway.

Yes, I saw that nose dive. All this from the announcement yesterday? I've put my money elsewhere for the time being anyway. I hope it all works out for VB because they've managed not to lay any staff off yet and having friends there, I hope it stays that way.
