you must have joined the cunning bitter twisted mob ; aviation has become a rather cynical bitter lot .
not being cynical, the guy hired to do the job, is in hospital, the contract the aircraft is mainly intended for has not been signed either with Air North or the NT governement.
There is a long way to go, and if they do it less than 12 mths I will be amazed.

Maybe, just maybe you guys with rose coloured glasses need to get a dose of reality and then stand back smell the roses and understand its not a matter of pilots wanting it to happen that actually makes it happen.

It's rather fascinating to read through the Pprune archived posts from some of the more notable personalities in this thread that comment on NT Aviation matters.

Historically there are one or two pretty-well on the money, one or two that have no idea, and a few that seem to be simply bitter and twisted.

Without being cynical, they'd be hard pressed to have one going within 12 months, and its not as though they are desperate for the capacity. Would be the best job in the country though...
Anyhow, will be interesting to watch the sh*tfight from the sideline, pilots getting the claws out..

If it is going to be up and running within twelve months then the $$$$$$ for crew must have been agreed apon surely.
Whats the go?
The only other operator of Jets this size is on a base of $126,000.
I look forward with anticipation to hear what Air North have agreed upon.

Airnorth historically haven't always had the best pay conditions, not sure if that changed though with there last EBA or not? It will be interesting to see the time frame and conditions when this does get the go-ahead. Good luck to the Airnorth boyz and girls, I really hope that you get it and crew it.

I noticed in Frdays Oz that there's a COO's possie up for grabs at said Air North!

Go on all you "experts"

Now's your chance

(not meant to be directed at any one particular 'expert' just an observation on my part regarding the trout some spout!)

Actually, I should probably mention that the departing Air North COO is actually going to start playing with *'s early '07

Not sure how much of that info is in the public arena, so will be a bit careful with what I write here

If you don't like cynicism, try looking through clear glasses instead of the rosy blinkers you seem to have on

Micheal Bridge said on the local news tonight they expect to take delivery in Oct 2007. Well that about answers all the stupid comments from those of us with rose colour glasses I guess, and just maybe its not Cunning, Dodgy and myself that need to find the phone box. Topend3 Dijon and maybe Kanga, could pm each other your phone numbers?
