Well Woomera, you've done it again. My first thread disappeared, and the second one was closed after 24 hours.

I think it had over 1000 hits in less than 24 hours, so people were obviously reading it. Several of those who know my identity emailed me to commend me on the pickup.

You deny the conspiracy theory, but I'm not so sure. It appears to me that you've always favoured the so called 89ers pitch rather than the alternative, and this further example would go some way toward proving that.

Oh well, might be time to look at an alternative forum now that it's available.

Will Woomera close this thread - and confirm the conspiracy?

Will 737 go away?

Will someone explain what he is on about?

OK - bye

and why did the ozjet thread get the chop? GB is well known and I can tell you, he loves it when people like sal-e and escape-slide come out with crap. Libel or personal financial threat are about the only things he would sue for to defend. Misinformation about ozjet would be more likely to have him making bets which he could cash in on later.

Cool

Gaschamber,
Ozjet was chopped because it (like so many other threads in D&G) turned into the Laurel and Hardy Show.

OK, accepted, it had degenerated somewhat. However the way I was reading it was it appeared to be a debate on whether ozjet could keep the norfolk work once air nauru got going again. Sal-e obviously works for air nauru and so has a vested interest in seeing ozjet off the premises. I haven't worked out what escape-slide's beef against ozjet is but it seems he is a fan of gold airways. Not that they could possibly be threatened by ozjet if we are to believe the hype about gold's huge airbus order.

ROFLMAO???

I'm sorry, I don't spend enough time in places like this to be up with the jargon. I established only recently what LOL meant, so can somebody enlighten me on the meaning of ROFLMAO?

I gather from subsequent posts that you may think I'm someone else, that identity being Buster. I'm not. Either that, or those infantile American terms "Buster" and "Pal" are re-emerging as terms in common use in the industry. How silly if they are, and really hope that is not the case.

There is little worse than a grown man calling someone "Buster" or "Pal". Perhaps, on rereading, he refers to Buster Hyman. It's all so confusing.

Grumpy, I posted legitimate, factual information about the originator of THE list recently applying for a job with some of those on the list and the absolute hypocrisy of his actions. The first thread was removed, it seems by whom we will never know, and after Woomera denied it was he who removed it, I started another, and it was shut down within 24 hours. I then suggested that Woomera has some difficulty with his impartiality.

amos, I didn't think the delete facility was available to the originator any longer. It is to Admin, but I haven't tried it so I don't know.

ROFLMAO = Rolling On Floor Laughing My Ass Off

relax737 why do you refer to the "originator" (singular) of the LIST?

The list was compiled from many sources (over 900 from memory) giving information to the AFAP. Air Pac is no different from Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Virgin Blue,Qantas etc,. whom employ post '89 ex Ansett/Australian crews.

Get over it Pal, like everyone else has.

Won't get a job at Dragon if you're name on that list. Or any other 'list'. Has ended in tears with people pleading and repenting their previous sins.

In terms of the blokes who sit next to you, lovely place to work.

My friend, I had and have nothing to "get over", and I note you are using the infantile term 'pal'. That in itself says something or YOUR level of im/maturity.

Alex, the originator/author/whatever of the list is applying for a job to work with those he condemned by placing them on the list and publishing it on the internet.

I merely noted the hypocrisy of his actions. No more and no less. Incidentally, Alex is also the guy who said, and I quote, "We put our futures in the hands of those who weren't up to task."

Now I said I'm not going to be dragged into an argument on other events. I could write eloquently for hours, but refuse to do so.

Hypocrisy is what I focussed on. I clearly recall Alex and his sheep farming brother stating emphatically in the AFAP building, "You can go back and take my job because I don't want it. I will NEVER work with anybody who returns to work".

They said it; I didn't. I did no more than draw attention to the gross hypocrisy.

PS I understand there was some pleading and tears by Alex too, but he dipped out, and there is no list at AirPac. Perhaps they know what disruptive influence means out there.

..............methinks we gotta live one in relax737...you say "I had and have nothing to "get over" and yet you were in the AFAP office and heard alex say "You can go back and take my job because I don't want it... I will NEVER work with anybody who returns to work"...........now I say.....who is the hypocryt.........you either went back or you stayed out........if the former then you didn't stick with the team.......if you stayed out...why the problem with the "list"...........plus you rose to the bait Pal that the Holer subtley threw in..........you gotta history "relax 737" or you just winding us up here?
