ETA has CASA approval to conduct a 737 NG difference courses in Melbourne, mates on the first course in January
Has been quoted $7500 AUD stand alone or $27500 AUD if run as an addition to the Classic

Doesn't sound unreasonable. A couple of years ago Qantas charged me $30KAus for a -300 type rating.
NG add-ons in the US are $4000US upwards.
Bloody shame people have to buy their own type ratings, but times have changed and if you are stuck without a job, it can be a good investment.
