Hello all you people on the other side of the PTT button!

You may be aware that the way private pilots get NOTAMs off the NATS web site has changed. It used to be a list of NOTAMs arranged in order of latitude (A1 and A8 bulletins) which seemed to work pretty well - now it's a randomised list with entries appearing several time and including loads of stuff which we're not interested in (apart from providing a few schoolboy jokes about Breast Control)!

How do you ATC people get your NOTAMs and has it changed recently? Rumour has it that the A1 and A8 bulletins are still available on MARS (what ever that is!).

But did you know that there is a suggestion that Mars is to be closed as well, and that soon you will all be using the same ghastly web site as us poor private pilots? (Or some as yet unspecified means)
