Given that you're in Al Ain wouldn't it be easier to pick up the phone to the people in HR at SZR? Assumin of course that you're already a Serco employee.

If not, the recommendation is the same.

Good salary and benefices ,pretty much the SERCO standard.

I'll do you a swap mate. I'll happily endure the boredom of Al Ain together with your humungous allowances and you can come to Sharjah where you'll find plenty planes to keep your interest and only a 40% pay cut.

Tempting, but Sharjah is "dry" and not far enough away from the Boerdom :).

Hence most Sharjah ATCOs live in Dubai. Your post makes a bit more sense now that I understand that 'boerdom' wasn't a typo. :}
