Stand / Gate 13?
 

Hi All,

Just a light hearted post this one.

Does your airport have a stand or gate 13? We don't at my little airport and I was wondering if any other airport did?

Yes I realise I could go and find this out myself by looking in the AIP but that wouldn't generate any interesting conversation would it?

Is it a stand or is it a gate? Does it depend on what side of the Atlantic you are, is it just semantics or doesn't it matter one iota????

You park on a stand and walk through a gate. Easy!!!!! :=

Back in my dim and very distant past I seem to recall that Glasgow didn't have a stand 13..... and on checking it still doesn't. :ok:

I seem to recall 213 and 313, don't remember there being one in terminal 1 or terminal 4. Is there a new one in terminal 5?

Yes at LGW - 13L - 13M - 13R :)

There is indeed a 513 at Heathrow, but no 510.. inexplicably!

Does Gate 13 exist for passengers now at Gatwick, I seem to recall at one stage it had a different Gate number to stand number.

Stansted has a 13L, 13, 13R,213, 513 and the VCR is on floor 13..........

There's a 613 at heathrow as well...that makes four !

I think (not 100%) that 510 is a coaching stand... pax will be directed to gate A10 in T5A, where they will be whisked off in luxury to a remote.
