Yes it said the same for me every time I checked for about a week or so and then the message changed wording to something along the lines of this event is no longer available for registration.

As you said, what gives me hope is that they are still encouraging people to apply from scratch and they wouldn't do that if they weren't planning to see more people. I guess it's just a matter of how long before they have space. The hard bit is not knowing when they open more dates. There's a limit to how often people are going to click that link and the dates seem to go quickly

We’re pleased to let you know that you have passed the minimum requirements from the first two stages of the selection process. We will now be assessing your results and the invitations to attend the next stage will be sent in due course (when we have availability at our Stage Three assessment centres).
"This is the mail i got today soon after i took the stage two" My ques is that will they send out an invitation to take the third slot? i mean a link to book for the third slot? And when i expect an email if so at the earliest?
Any expert opinion? TIA

Though that said, I wasn't ever able to book a Stage 3 assessment. Passed the tests, got an invite and a link to book Stage 3, but it permanently showed no slots available from the moment I got the invite and now has a new message that the event is now closed for registration, so I didn't even get a chance to book Stage 3 before it closed. Seems that getting a Stage 3 invite doesn't actually mean you'll ever get there

Curious how many others actually got to book it and if anyone else like me is left wondering if this is now the end of it. It's a bit strange that you can be invited but never actually have a chance to book

Looking at the NATS careers website it looks like the closing date for trainee positions is October.

Read on in the job advert...

"Please note that NATS reserves the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. If you are interested, please submit your application as soon as possible."

Whilst I don't see it imminently closing. I'd be surprised if it is still open by late September.

I would put money on the vacancy being open for the next few years given the current staff shortages and huge retirement bubble.

Hi mine is also showing the same.

Hoping that we get called for assessment centres soon!

I passed stage 2 today and have had the same e-mail. How long did it take for a stage 3 assessment day to become available?

I got my pass email a month ago and still nothing.

JohnTonks24 31st May 2023 16:20

Has anybody heard anything yet from this month (May) assessment centres?

Passed Stage 2 in April, emailed them 2 weeks ago for an update and they said they're still waiting to allocate me for Stage 3.

OH_OBS 5th June 2023 14:18

I received the invite to phase 3 at 2:58 pm but when I opened the link at 3:06 pm there were no more slots. Has anyone managed to secure a slot?

I received a stage 3 invite at 14:48 and happened to be on my phone at the time. I opened it and went to the link almost instantly but there were also no dates available.

It’s frustrating but gives me hope they have sent out more invites in advance on adding new assessment centres! The email says to keep checking back on the link regularly.

Just got another email from NATS, new assessment centre dates releasing 9am on the 7th of June!

Blueskythinking65 5th June 2023 16:43

I know some people have heard and have been allocated courses. Best of luck for those waiting.

carl8989 7th June 2023 09:03

that went well…..

Clicked the link at 9am as stated. Website clearly overloaded as extremely slow to load. Dates available in June + July. Clicked on one to book - page refreshes and says all slots taken. This was at 9.03am

Contacted NATS and they confirm all slots full @ new slots will be released at some point in the future, but then don’t know when.

seems like it’s a case of faster finger first and a bit of luck! This could potentially happen each time they release new slots?

chiranjib 8th June 2023 07:05

hi
i tried from 9am and untill 9:30 am it still showed slots are currently unavialable.
Is there any trick that you did to get it done? Please help.

Blueskythinking65 8th June 2023 08:41

Man Utd 1999. Maybe relax a little. Probably not best to criticise your potential future employer before you’ve got the job. Trust me you will have 30+ years to do that!

mrbll 8th June 2023 09:02

I think most people would accept that they have finite capacity and you might need to wait a bit, but what seems suboptimal is the lottery style allocation of Stage 3 and inviting more people for it who applied more recently, who might get lucky ahead of people who were invited ages ago. It shouldn't come down to luck of when you click a link. This isn't ticketmaster. I would have preferred to be allocated a date without any choice over this process. Once you get a Stage 3 invite, you'd think there would be capacity for you.

Personally I've stopped waiting for anything now and accepted Stage 3 won't happen. They clearly have an excess of people which is great for them

I've refreshed the page at 9am on the dot, took a good few seconds to load..
It did show up a date for next week and one at the end of the month.
Both dates wouldn't suit me so I refreshed the page.
After it reloaded, it came up with 2 different dates and I picked one of them.
Hope this helps
