Hi there!

Yes exactly the same. It says below just to keep checking back :) Glad I'm not the only one ;)!

Best of luck!

EDIT: I tried to book on at 1400 today and it said the same thing.

Megamc 17th June 2015 18:11

buuuuaaaaaaa :uhoh:

I want to book now!!!!!!

Well, is there someone from spain?

Hanima 17th June 2015 18:19

With a 1-2 year waiting period, there's probably a lot of people trying to lock into one of these dates. I got July 21st, anyone else? :)

I think I remember reading on the NATS website that stage 2 started with a written test. You had to study some material in advance, but now I can't find that reference. Can anyone confirm this?

Hanima 17th June 2015 18:28

Btw, Megamc, I'm from Portugal. I actually looked into an ATC program in Spain before I found out about NATS (FerroNATS, I believe) :)

Regarding Stage 3 again.

Has anybody heard back from their interviews? It's been around 2 weeks now and I'm getting a bit restless haha.

manusa 17th June 2015 18:55

That was some fast booking for Stage 2!

Not yet. But, after waiting a year and a half for Stage 3, a few weeks don't seem like that much

I thought I was clear enough...this does not bode well for my communication skills! But yes, I'll be booking when they become available. I checked at 1900 today and the same "No date" message was displayed then too.

dendrobate 17th June 2015 19:56

Hey first time posting on this.
I applied about 3-4 weeks ago. Booked my date about 15 minutes after getting the email through today, worked aboslutely fine for me even did it on my phone :/

Although as soon as I had booked it I got an email informing me the time was incorrect and it was in fact 8 am not 9 am.

dendrobate 17th June 2015 20:16

I'm going 24 August

WelshPride1989 17th June 2015 22:21

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think we have to study anything before stage 2 anymore. I have been reading previous discussions on this thread too (such as documents being sent to applicants) and nothing like this is mentioned in the email, so I am assuming it has been removed (or moved to stage 3?)

Weird about all dates being filled, btw. I also had no trouble booking 7th August. Hope you guys are able to book soon!

Just mentioned feast and dart, which are cognitive tests really.

KeyHolder 18th June 2015 07:57

Apologies if i'm doing this wrong, 1st post.

I got my stage 2 invitation email yesterday, clicked on the date and with a bit of hesitation (about 3mins) I decided to go for the 6th July, clicked confirm and the whole of July was fully booked. People obviously didn't mess about after receiving the email. Fortunately I managed to get booked in for the 3rd August :ok:

If anyone has any information regarding the Stage 2 that I can revise, it would be greatly appreciated

Anyone have heard of FEAST TEST TRAINING!!!

I was checking online for some tests and found this, is available in App Store & Google Play Store.
Anyone in here has tried it, is it worth? The price on App Store is £27.99. I'm just wondering if it's similar to what we'll have to do???

Hanima 18th June 2015 12:13

RobertSaturn, I did some digging as well to see what I could use to practice for the stage 2 tests. I found out about that app (and a few more like it), but I don't think I'll be buying anything. From what I've read in forums, FEAST is designed to test your skills, rather than your preparation. I'd guess it's a bit like the online assessments, preparation doesn't matter nearly as much as being able to think quickly and clearly. That's why I don't think the investment is worth it.

However, I've been checking out some nice tools to get acquainted with the brain exercises/ATC stuff. There's a few that I've found to be interesting:

Airport Madness - multitasking, awareness

Lumosity - full of little games to test speed, attention, memory, etc. Some contents used to be free, I believe, now after an initial test you have to pay a subscription fee (about 7€ a month)

And, of course, the NATS games ;)

Btw, what do you think would be a nice score on those NATS games? I struggle with some more than others. In particular, what do you think would be a good score for the sequential memory and reactive avoidance tests?

sambatc 18th June 2015 18:51

I'd be surprised if anyone has been stupid enough to pay that much to find out

Kimmikins 19th June 2015 09:26

Some have had to play them. A lot. :bored:

Crazy Voyager 19th June 2015 09:54

I thought Strip Display management as it was then was quite fun at the time. Not sure what I'd think now though.

I used lumosity, it was quite good to pass the time but probably did little to improve or change my scores to the nats tests.

I also played a lot of tetris (Free Tetris | Tetris Friends Online Games I think I used) which was a similar thing, a good way to pass the time but probably did nothing to imrpove my scores.

RobertSaturn 19th June 2015 14:39

Hi, Hanima!

I think you're right, everything is about reaction in this tests and brain as well!

About the NATS games, they are ok, with the cards game I can't go past tthe level with 5cards, that starts to be difficult to me; the other is ok, I managed close to 4000.

But never mind, everything in the test will be new, never heard or played, so indeed is all about us!

I'm going on 3rd August - GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE!!!
