Visit NATS establishment
 

Hi,

I'm currently in the selection process to become an ATCO trainee. I'd very much like to visit a nearby control facility.

I live in the Southampton area.

If anyone knows if this is possible or who to contact please let me know.

You could look up the number in the AIP and give them a ring; it is possible to make visits.

I see that you reside in Eastleigh, you have a NATS unit right on your doorstep, at the airport. Give them a call (02380 627189) to request a visit, as long as you have a current passport (for security ID) they will most probably agree to a visit. If you can speak to one of the controllers, I believe that he is known on the unit as "Uncle Billy", he has helped numerous sucessful interviewees. He helped a very good friend of mine, who subsequently joined NATS.

hey ben this is martyn who you met at todays stage 2 selection.

like i mentioned today that i was trying to organise a visit to west drayton, if you wanted i could ask the chappy who i'm visiting if he could book you in too. let me know chief!!
