RAF AVO/RO ATCO Positions
 

Are these type of positions still available? Might be heading home from overseas in the next year or so and might be interested in donning a blue suit and headset again as a civil servant...

RO ... No

Aviation Officer (AvO)... yes.

However the goalposts changed a couple of years back. If you have never served as a Commissioned Officer in HM Forces and apply for an AvO Post then you will be required to undergo, and pass, ALL stages of Initial Officer Selection and Training.

You might also get in on Full Time Reserve Service (FTRS)...

Fortunately, I was an officer. Any idea who I would need to contact? Which desk at PMA?
