ATCOs Salary

To all the ATCOs out there:
How do you get paid?
I mean how do you get paid as in cheques, monthly or weekly etc?

Also how do you receive your salry at college?

Barnaby the Bear 6th July 2005 16:54

Strange question???
Usually BACS at the end of the month. :}

ItchyFeet2 6th July 2005 17:07

Well, if you're asking?

I'm paid absolute shed loads and I usually get one of the butlers here to collect it in a large wheel barrow for me!

Oh, there goes the alarm.......

M609 6th July 2005 17:39

Transfered to account on the 20th every month (or the last working day prior to the 20th)

Tax, union fee and pension deposit handeled by the pay office.

(After which nothing is left!)

Statement in the mail 3-4 days later.

NATS pay straight into bank account on the 3rd to last working day of each month.

Scott Voigt 7th July 2005 01:28

In the US with the FAA it comes every two weeks (on Tuesday) straight to the bank electronically...

regards

Scott

In Australia paid every fortnight on Thursday. Deductions can be superannuation, medical scheme, salary sacrifice but not union membership. (Airservices management loathes Civil Air and by definition it's staff as they are one and the same thing.)

BARNABY!!!

Do they actually pay you??? I thought you did it for 'Lurve'.....

apache43 8th July 2005 13:35

Nav Canada pays every other Wednesday. Most opt for direct deposit but some of the less trusting sorts will pick up a cheque from their local admin office.

Barry Cuda 8th July 2005 20:37

Itchy, how many AAVA's have you been doing?

jovica 8th July 2005 21:11

In Serbia salary is transfered to account on the 5th every month or the last working day prior to the 5th.

Frunobulax 8th July 2005 22:14

The same here in Poland, more or less on 27th.

Hey, UK guys, in EE it's quite uncommon to have salary on a WEEKLY basis

Barnaby the Bear 9th July 2005 17:41

Cartmans Twin.

Did you not realise you can now get book tokens through BACS?!!! :}
