Can anyone tell me when and where the first test flight for the A380 wil be, and if it is possible to go see it take its first flight?

ATC Issue?

I'm not 100% but I think the first flight is in March this year, possible 31st, but can't confirm.

Rollout is 18th January,first flight will be 31/3/2005.

What spacing will be required for this plane on t/o and landing? will is be similar to the 747?

Funny this should be mentioned, as when Virgin started using those long A340's, I had a couple of wake vortex encounters when the following medium a/c was easily 8 miles (if not more) in trail and recieved a nasty bump. Maybe a "Super Heavy"?

Guess vortex will just be HEAVY there can't be much between the A380 and those big antonov monsters. I presume wake problems vary with the wind etc, got some really nasty wake vortex running into lambourne in a 319, we were following a 747 and it was about 8 miles ahead, en route vortex sep is supposed to be 5 miles in that situation but we took a hell of a bump.
