FISO pay?????

To all those who occupy, or have occupied, the role of FISO. What is the average wage that you see as acceptable for the role??
Just out of interest

No idea what the "going rate" is, matey. In my outfit we are just on-call as FISOs in addition to our normal, mind-numbingly tedious ATCA... sorry, AT(leave gap to fox search engine)SOA duties, and we get paid overtime for the FISO call-outs.
The rate is therefore 'not a lot' x 1.5.

I suspect the 'going rate' is very much dependent upon your location, but some aerodromes seem like they might actually pay a living wage for a FISO. Or is that just another urban myth?

Does anybody know of an airfield actually looking for a FISO?

Does anybody know of any available and validated FISO's out there?
Few and far between, I believe !

Yeah, I'll do FISO for you but it will be charged at £15.00 per hour.
