Request for high level ATC stats.

Hi,

I'm writing a presentation and need some help.

I'm after some general stats about the growth of Air Travel in the past 20 or so years, and forecasts (lines on graphs) for what it is expected to do.

I'm looking at it from a UK ATC capacity perspective so I also need some ideas about where the current bottlenecks are and what's planned for the future to manage the increase in traffic.

I've rummaged through the NATS website to no avail.
All ideas/documents gratefuly received.

Thanks.

Try the CAA Library. I know some stats on aircraft movements and passenger numbers are kept for UK airports if that's will help.

ST,

Broaden you research to compare the busiest terminals in the UK against the two busiest in the USA (ORD and ATL).

So what would ORD and ATL have to do with that ??? ;)

I think NATS will have a few more years of getting it's own house in order before we start bidding to do ATC at places in the USA ;)
