Manchester ATCC

Hi Chaps,

Can anyone in the know confirm the dates when the ManATCC frequenies changed over?

126.65 to 135.4
124.2 to 134.425
125.1 to 128.05
118.775 introduced?

Any help for our records much appreciated.

If you can hang on I'll have an answer for you on Tuesday when I'm back in :)

May I ask why?

126.65 became 135.4 at 0001 on 8 August 2002.
Can't help you with the others I'm afraid, way too long ago!:)

Am making a point with a mate that within say a couple of years, the old frequency will reappear in the same area wondering why they changed it in the first place!!!

Scottish lost 135.85
Scottish reactivates 135.58

London changes 128.05
Manchester inherits 128.05

You can't keep a good frequency down.
Why DID they change it?

Skippy (if I may call you that),
You've a typo creep in- 135.85 was re-activated, not .58
Don't forget the 'moving frequency syndrome- 124.9 to Belfast and 126.25 went about 250 miles north
