Singapore to trial remote ATC system
 
Channel News Asia reporting on:

‘A smart digital tower which allows air traffic controllers to guide take-offs and landings remotely, without having to see the planes, will soon be tested at Changi Airport’. (I can’t post URLs, yet).

It will be interesting to see what comes of this.
